The Buzz staff members 7 days a week (7am to 10pm Monday - Friday and 8am to 8pm on the weekends).
We appreciate that not everyone understands Insurance or how to make a claim. So to help you understand the claims process a little better, here's some insiders’ knowledge.
A claims consultant role is to do all the work for you - determine who was at fault for the accident, recommend a repairer if required , appoint assessors, confirm the claim circumstances, and arrange settlement of the claim. We’ll tell you straight up if your claim has been accepted. If for any reason we require any further information that will assist us with your claim, we’ll contact you via your preferred contact method and advise you of what information is required and why.
Here are some tips that can make the claims process as painless and stress free as possible.
- Always keep The Buzz Glove Box Collision Guide handy – this tells you everything you need to do in the event of a collision.
- Windscreen Damage Only – No need to lodge a claim with The Buzz. Call O’Brien Glass directly and they’ll fix your car and lodge your claim for you.
- Stolen Vehicle – Report the theft to the police immediately. Ensure you obtain the name of the Police Officer, The Station and Crime Reference Number. Remember to lodge your claim within 24hrs of the theft.
