Your ideas at the heart of The Buzz Home Insurance

At The Buzz we believe listening to the community and sharing ideas is a key to new possibilities.

That’s why we asked what you want in your ideal home insurer.

We gathered over 1000 insights in a 12 month intensive co-creation process with the community.

Here’s a snapshot of some of your bright ideas:

“ Being able to buy insurance for exactly what you want, for circumstances that suit you and your situation, lifestyle etc – so that you know you’re paying for insurance you may actually need.”

“…Insurers should provide a summary sheet of things definitely not covered….”

“…you should be able to fill in claims forms online to reduce paperwork…”

"…insurance terms and claims in simple easy to understand everyday language ..”

The Buzz Home Insurance, launched recently- is a result of your ideas put into practice.

Here’re some of the key features that you helped us develop:

  • Transparent pricing- Each part of The Buzz home insurance is priced individually so you know what you’re paying for. Insure exactly what you want, to suit your lifestyle and your budget.

  • Flexibility with three Cover Packs- Keep the premium as affordable as possible or get a high level of coverage - its your choice! Opt in and out of the Cover Packs and see the difference in premium- instantly.

  • Clear, simple insurance: We explain insurance in plain English – what’s covered, what’s not covered, how to claim. We leave the jargon out, so its easier to understand.

  • Online claim: Claim online at My Buzz or manage your policy - anytime, at your convenience, 24/7. Reduce paper work and avoid waiting in queues.

Maybe when you are thinking about making changes to the product features, you could ask the customer community to vote on the changes - like a democratic system. Only make changes to products if the customers vote for the change.

Thanks for the idea suec. We're always looking for new ways to incorporate the ideas of the customers in everything we do. The Buzz recently updated its home page based on community voting. Before implementing the new design we conducted an online survey and asked people to tell us what they like/don't like about the design. Check out the new home page on www.thebuzzinsurance.com.au and tell us what you think.
