LinkedIn- connecting The Buzz
The Buzz brand and business has its roots in the community. More than 3000 Australians shaped The Buzz with their ideas.
Behind the scenes, a virtual team of Buzz internal people and people from our external partner businesses, in Australia and overseas, helped put those ideas into practice and created The Buzz.
LinkedIn presented a perfect platform for us to stay connected with the team after the launch.
We created The Buzz Insurance Alumni Group on LinkedIn- a community of past and present Buzz team members in Australia and overseas.
The group allows past team members to continue to be a part of The Buzz. We use the forum to inform them about new initiatives and keep the team up to date on key milestones of The Buzz.
The team gets quick access the CEO and the rest of the leadership team and we get to share personal insights with each other such as books reading, holiday plans etc.
Many of our external partners routinely engage with The Buzz through the group.
One of the alumni members says that LinkedIn is a good and private way to connect with the team. It’s a focused conversation that does not include the noise of other social channels and the audience is known to have a common set of interests.
LinkedIn has certainly proved to be an effective channel for connecting The Buzz.
How do you use LinkedIn in your business model?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
