Insurance product bundles - no claims bonus

If I take out car insurance, home insurance and travel insurance as a bundle with an insurance company, and I don't claim against any of those policies - give me an extra no claims discount as a reward. This must be a genuine discount - over and above what you usually offers for no claims on one policy.

Secure Online Insured Possession Inventory

Dear Buzz Exchange, I believe insurance would be a lot easier, particularly Home & Contents Insurance, if you could create a secure online inventory of all your major possessions which are worth insuring. This would help people keep track of exactly what they own, calculate how much cover they need and update the inventory whenever new items are purchased. With modern data storage and great n...

Hole in one insurance for golfers

Have come across this in other countries where golfers can insure themselves against the bar bill should the be so fortunate as to get a hole in one! The bar bill is often $400-$500 which is rather a set-back after that one brilliant shot. Most golfers never get a hole in one. Hole in one insurance is quite prestigious and something to talk about on the course.   Hole in one insurance could...

Reduced premiums for good driving

I think insurance companies should look beyond licence cancellations as a guide of "bad driving" and include the number of demerit points you have got in the last 3 years. It must be an excellent predicter of accidents and "at fault" claims. This way, people that have a unblemished record could benefit from cheaper premiums and those regularly breaking the rules have some conse...

Defensive driving course discount or premium discount for course completion.

I have an idea to make everyone better drivers, help The Buzz and our premiums.   If the customers of the Buzz were offered an affiliate defensive driver course discount (similar to the O'brian Glass and Thrifty discounts) This would be more of an incentive to complete a defensive driver course and become a safer driver, in turn being a more informed safer driver means t....

I'd like to own The Buzz!

How about a loyalty program with a difference, offer customers an equity certificate in The Buzz to get REAL buy in, the certificate can be exchanged at the point of IPO for real equity!     Have a long term plan to diverge The Buzz from IAG and operate as a co-operative or float independantly. Each customer gets an "equity stake" which they lose, all or in part, if they clai...

Pay as you go

I think it would be a good idea if you had the option to pay as you go, ie monthly, as it can be quite a large payment when you include registration, ctp green slip and insurance.

Educational program

I think it would be a good idea to have an educational program for people like myself who don't know the 'ins and outs' of the insurance industry.

Laws

Hi, it would be helpful to receive a pamphlet or have a section on your website explaining the laws of when and when not the insurance would cover. E.g. if a learner driver is driving your car with the owner instructing and they have a crash, will they be fully covered, or if you have a crash while speeding etc will you be covered. Thanks.

claims community

Claiming can be confusing. The first place you look when claiming is the website, so i suggest that on the claims page of the site have a link to a community about claims.   This could provide hints on how to claim, at exactly the time when you need this information the most. Encourage people who have claimed to post comments by menitoning it on all claim paperwork and emails that get ...
