Reduced premiums for good driving

I think insurance companies should look beyond licence cancellations as a guide of "bad driving" and include the number of demerit points you have got in the last 3 years. It must be an excellent predicter of accidents and "at fault" claims. Defensive driving course discount or premium discount for course completion.

I have an idea to make everyone better drivers, help The Buzz and our premiums. Pay as you go

I think it would be a good idea if you had the option to pay as you go, ie monthly, as it can be quite a large payment when you include registration, ctp green slip and insurance.

As part of a review of my budget and cost cutting exercise in line with the current economic climate, I changed all my insurances (house, car, contents) to Real Insurance. I would like the option to receive reminders via email. The PDS and any other important information could be either an attachment or a link to a pdf which can be downloaded. Insurance repairs (car) are a painful experience because you are without a car for too long - need a seamless way to include a rental car with any claim requiring repairs to your car - the rental should be available at soon as you deliver your car to the repairer, and from the reparier's shop.
